- The 2011 New York trip was a trip to be remembered. Eighteen students from the Germantown High School Production Workshop took a week long trip to the Big Apple during their spring break. The students enjoyed seeing six Broadway shows including Billy Elliot, The Book of Mormon, That Championship Season, Catch Me If You Can, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and Memphis: The Musical. In addition, they took in all of the sites including tours of the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, the Federal Reserve Building, Radio City Music Hall, NBC Studios, Lincoln Center, Central Park, and numerous other tourist attractions.
