Is He Dead at the PPP?

Germantown High School’s Poplar Pike Playhouse is proud to announce Is He Dead? as the
upcoming fall production. The satirical comedy, written by Mark Twain and adapted by David
Ives, follows a fictional version of the great French painter Jean-Francois Millet. While Millet
struggles to meet the demands of a cynical art dealer, Millet’s inner circle advises him to fake his
death to order to reach fame and stardom as an artist. Millet must decide whether to be dead and rich or alive and dejected.
